New Process for Charter Officer Performance Evaluations (B)
Explanation
The members of the Personnel & Organizational Committee reviewed the current Charter Officer performance evaluation process. The Committee requested that the Human Resources staff collect information from other cities and counties. The Committee decided it would be beneficial for all Commissioners to receive a copy of this information for general use and reference. The information is tabbed as to its source:
Tab 1: Alachua County, Florida
Tab 2: Florida League of Cities
Tab 3: International City/County Management Association (ICMA)
The Committee recommends no change in the current Charter Officer performance evaluation process. Each Commissioner may want to use the information from other jurisdictions as a guide in completing the annual Charter Officer performance evaluations.
