Explanation
Staff is following up with November's request from the Committee to provide the Economic Development and Innovation Director job description and available CRA incentives as well as several documents related to the City and partner's plan's/priorities relative to economic development efforts. Staff seeks a discussion with the Committee regarding the Economic Development and Innovation Director position responsibilities and the metrics relative to the position.
Recommendation
The Economic Development University Community Committee hear a brief presentation from staff providing input on responsibilities and directing staff to coordinate with economic development partners on establishing economic development metrics to be reviewed with the Committee at the February EDUCC meeting.
