Explanation

This item was discussed at the October 9, 2014 RUC meeting.  Staff gave a presentation which detailed the voluntary solar contribution fund (2002), the GRUGreen Energy Program (2003), current renewable energy sources, other Florida utilities' green pricing programs, program considerations & potential programs.  RUC Chair Chase requested staff bring some viable program options to a future meeting.

Recommendation

Hear a presentation from staff regarding options for green energy pricing program, and considerations for the potential development of such programs.
