 Interlocal Agreement with Alachua County to Administer its Anti-discrimination Ordinance in the City Limits of Gainesville (B)

Explanation

 The current Interlocal Agreement between the City and County for administering the County's Anti-discrimination Ordinance within the City limits will expire September 30, 2000.

Based upon the City's recent interest in renewing this agreement, the County has reviewed the costs involved and has calculated an amount of $92,300.00 for FY 00/01.

Fiscal Note

Funds are included in the Equal Opportunity budget for 2000-2001.

Recommendation

 The City Commission approve the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Gainesville and Alachua County for the County to administer its Anti-discrimination Ordinance in the City limits of Gainesville.
