Explanation

This Interlocal Agreement allows Alachua County to continue to use the County's Human Rights Ordinance to investigate discrimination complaints within the City limits of Gainesville.

Fiscal Note

The Interlocal Agreement will be funded ($95,123.00) by the Equal Opportunity Department for FY 2001-02.

Recommendations

The City Commission approve the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between Alachua County and the City of Gainesville for administration of the County's Human Rights Ordinance within the Gainesville City limits and authorize the Mayor to execute the document.
