General Fund Transfer from GRU (B)

Explanation

During a budget hearing on July 25, 2006 the City Commission referred the issue of the annual transfer to General Government to the Regional Utilities Committee.   The RUC heard a presentation from staff at the October 20, 2008 meeting.

A presentation prepared jointly with General Government staff will be presented.  The history of the transfer will be discussed and the current formula will be explained.

Recommendation

The Regional Utilities Committee hear a brief history of the General Fund Transfer and provide direction to staff.
