Second Extension for Provision of Limerock for FY 2003 (B)
Explanation
The contract for provision of limerock dated October 9, 2000 and first extension dated July 23, 2001 with Limestone Products, Inc. will expire on September 30, 2002. This firm has responded to the City's requests for services promptly and their services have been reliable and accurate. The Public Works Department recommends extending this contract for FY 2003.
The Contract for Fiscal Year 2001 allowed for two extensions. This is the second request for an extension.
Fiscal Note
Funding sources will be identified, as needed from the City capital project budgets.
Recommendation
The City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Second Extension to the contract with Limestone Products, Inc. for Provision of Limerock, extending the term of the contract from October 1, 2002 to September 30, 2003, subject to final appropriation of funds for FY 2003.
