Explanation

In the preparation of GRU's FY2019 budget, staff is seeking guidance from both the Utility Advisory Board and the City Commission on rate options.  Due to a tight timeline for completion of GRU’s proposed budget, staff is requesting permission to schedule a joint special meeting of the City Commission and Utility Advisory Board for discussion, consensus and guidance on various rate options.

Recommendation:

The City Commission grant permission for staff to work with the Clerk of the Commission to schedule a joint special meeting of the City Commission and the Utility Advisory Board in June 2018.
