Designation of PACE Alachua Expansion Project as Project Sponsor (B)
This item seeks an OTTED Designation of the PACE Alachua Expansion Project as a Project Sponsor for the Enterprise Zone Community Contribution Tax Credit Program.
Explanation
The Community Contribution Tax Credit is an incentive offered by the State of Florida as part of the Enterprise Zone program. The final development order for the expansion has been approved by the Planning Division and ground breaking is expected in July 2009. The PACE Alachua Expansion already has considerable support from the local business community.
