Explanation
The contract dated May 25, 2004, First Amendment dated August 20, 2004, First Extension dated February 14, 2005, Second Extension dated September 13, 2005, Third Extension dated December 19, 2006, and Fourth Extension dated August 3, 2007, with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc., for Professional Water Resource Engineering Services expires on September 30, 2008. This firm has responded to the City's requests for services promptly and their services have been reliable and accurate.
The Contract allows for five one-year extensions. This is the fifth request for extension.
Fiscal Note
Funds for the fifth extension to this contract are provided for and available in the Stormwater Management Utility Fund (SMUF).
Recommendation
The City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Fifth Extension to the contract with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc., for Professional Water Resource Engineering Services, extending the term of the contract from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009.
