Energy Efficiency Behavior Change Project (B)
Gainesville received Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant stimulus funding to do numerous projects. One project approved for funding was the behavior modification project using Home Energy Reports.
Explanation
In July of 2006 staff began implementation of an aggressive Energy Efficiency Program. Starting October 2006 numerous programs have been implemented to help achieve maximum cost-effective energy efficiency. The presentation will provide an overview of scheduled activities for implementing the Home Energy Report along with an explanation of the reports and how the reports effectiveness will be measured.
Recommendations
The City Commission hear a brief presentation from staff on how the Home Energy Reports will be distributed and the performance tracked during the project.
