Explanation
This item was referred to the Community Development Committee (CDC) to contact a UF representative requesting that they commit to several conversations with the CDC concerning porta-potties, RV parking, and parking in general, including time limits for parking in the University Context Area during special events. During a review of pending referrals during the November 27, 2012 meeting, the Committee agreed to request that the City Commission refer this item to the Economic Development/University Community Committee (EDUCC) instead.
Recommendation
Community Development Committee to the City Commission: 1) refer this item to the Economic Development/University Community Committee (EDUCC) the task of contacting a UF representative requesting that they commit to several conversations concerning porta-potties, RV parking, and parking in general, including time limits for parking in the University Context Area during special events; and 2) remove this item from the Community Development Committee (CDC) referral list.
