This item is a request to provide a presentation summarizing the results of the October 23, 2012, Neighborhood Visioning Session on the future of the C. R. Layton United States Army Reserve Center located at 1125 Northeast 8^th Avenue.

Explanation

A Neighborhood Visioning Session on the future of the C. R. Layton United States Army Reserve Center located at 1125 Northeast 8^th Avenue was held on October 23, 2012. About 60 people were in attendance including a few members of the City Commission. A request was made to provide the full City Commission with a presentation on the results of the Visioning Session.  A video of the Neighborhood Visioning Session was prepared and is available on the City web site.   

Fiscal Note

There is no fiscal impact associated with the presentation.  

Recommendation

The City Commission:  1) hear a presentation on the results of the October 23, 2012 Neighborhood Visioning Session;  and 2) provide any additional guidance as appropriate.
