This item proposes the ratification of the Agreement between the Amalgamated Transit Union Bargaining Unit and the City of Gainesville.
Explanation
This Agreement has been reached through negotiations between the Amalgamated Transit Union Bargaining Unit and the City of Gainesville, and was ratified by the Amalgamated Transit Union Bargaining Unit on December 7, 2012. This Agreement extends the current Collective Bargaining Agreement through September 30, 2015.
A copy of the Agreement is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Commission. After December 20, 2012, the Agreement will be on file in the Human Resources Department.
Fiscal Note
Funds are currently budgeted for Fiscal Year 2013.
Recommendation
The City Commission ratify the Agreement between the Amalgamated Transit Union Bargaining Unit and the City of Gainesville, extending the Agreement through September 30, 2015.
