A Resolution of the City of Gainesville, Florida; approving the vacation of a portion of the Plat of Oak Park recorded in Plat Book A, Page 176, of the Public Records of Alachua County, Florida, said portion being located on the southeast corner of the intersection of NW 23rd Avenue and NW 13th Street; providing directions to the Clerk of the Commission; providing for filing of the original hereof; and providing an immediate effective date.

Section 177.101, Florida Statutes appears to require that plats be vacated by resolution of the governing body of the county where the property is situated. However, if the plat is located within a City, the statutes require the City Commission to adopt a resolution vacating the plat and to forward a certified copy of the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners.
