The City Commission adopt the proposed ordinance.
 
explanation
On June 24, 2013, the Regional Utilities Committee heard a presentation from GRU staff and held a public discussion regarding the fuel adjustment and associated levelization balance policies.  At its meetings on July 18, 2013, and September 19, 2013, the City Commission discussed fuel adjustment levelization policies and the fund balance.  At its meeting on January 16, 2014, staff made a presentation to the City Commission on proposed changes to sections 27-21 and 27-28 of the Code of Ordinances and, by a vote of 7-0, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise revisions to the code of ordinances as recommended by staff.
