Explanation
This petition proposes amendment of Policy 1.2.1 of the Capital Improvements Element (CIE) so that it correctly refers to Policy 2.3.1 (rather than 2.2.1) of the Public Schools Facilities Element (PSFE), which was renumbered from 2.2.1 to 2.3.1 and otherwise amended by Ordinance No. 120370 when it was adopted on August 13, 2013. Ordinance 120370 was an omnibus ordinance that amended seven Comprehensive Plan Elements (including the CIE) and deleted another for the Evaluation and Appraisal process. This text amendment is needed to correct this scrivener's error in the CIE.
Public notice was published in the Gainesville Sun on November 13, 2013. The City Plan Board held a public hearing on December 2, 2013.
