Explanation
The Gainesville Charter mandates that the EO Director make an annual report pertaining to local minority business and local small business procurement programs.
On February 11, 2014 the Equal Opportunity Committee heard a presentation from EO staff and discussed the 2013 spend reports for GG and GRU small business and minority business programs and approved this item for presentation to the City Commission.

Recommendation:
The City Commission: 1) hear a presentation from EO staff on spending performance with small and minority businesses for FY13; and 2) accept the reports.
