This item requests that the City Commission authorize the City Manager to sign as Authorized Representative for the University of Florida Surplus Warehouse Program Application for Eligibility to Receive University of Florida Surplus Property.
Explanation
The University of Florida Surplus Warehouse program acquires surplus from the University of Florida and transfers it to eligible public entities and non-profit organizations to assist in deferring the cost of new equipment. In order to participate, the City must submit letter of authorization listing employees given authorization to sign and pick up surplus property as part of the program.
