On June 16, 2014, Plaintiff Randall Prevatt filed a Complaint in the Circuit Court of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, in and for Alachua County, Florida against the City of Gainesville and Officers Jeremiah Kelly and Daniel Abbott in their individual capacities. The City and Officer Abbott were served with the Complaint. The Plaintiff alleges injuries as a result of an arrest by Officers Kelly and Abbott. He alleges excessive force was used in the arrest, resulting in a violation of his constitutional rights.
