Trauma Informed Community and Survey Results on Health in the Homeless Population (B)
Explanation
At the September 2, 2014 EOC meeting, Dr. Nancy Hardt of the UF Family Data Center and the Mobile Outreach Clinic gave a presentation of her visit to Tarpon Springs, FL on a trauma informed community and she presented data results on a needs assessment survey given at the Downtown Plaza and at Grace Marketplace. After hearing survey results the EOC requested Dr. Hardt to present data to the full City Commission.

Recommendation:
The City Commission: 1) hear a presentation from Dr. Nancy Hardt on a trauma informed community and on the needs assessment survey done for health in the homeless population; and 2) take action as necessary.
