On May 6, 2015 the City was served with a Summons and Complaint filed by Brooke Rich. Brooke Rich alleges that she was involved in an automobile accident with a City vehicle on December 11, 2012 on NW 39th Avenue, in Gainesville. Brooke Rich claims to have suffered bodily injury, including permanent injury to the body as a whole within a reasonable degree of medical probability, as well as aggravation of a preexisting condition, including pain and suffering of both a physical and mental nature, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of medical and nursing care and treatment, and loss of ability to lead and enjoy a normal life.
