Explanation

At the conclusion of the discussion on funding of the School Resource Officers at the September 17, 2015 Commission Meeting, Commissioner Chase made a successful motion to refer the funding and use of Crossing Guards to the Public Safety Committee.

Recommendation:

The Public Safety Committee hear a presentation from GPD staff on the overview of the school crossing guard use and funding.
