Explanation

The City Auditor was tasked by the City Commission on December 17, 2015 to conduct an audit of the compliance with the City of Gainesville’s Policies and Procedures related to matters brought to the City’s attention after a report was issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The objective of the engagement was to assess the compliance of involved parties with the City of Gainesville policies and procedures. The Charter Officers met on December 21, 2015 and agreed on the scope. The audit is now complete and available for review and discussion.

Recommendation:

The City Auditor recommends that the City Commission accept the City Auditor's report.
