Depot Avenue Segment 4 Project (B)

This item is a request for the City Commission to authorize the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal in the amount of $2,828,993 for the Depot Avenue Segment 4 project.

Explanation

On March 17^th, 2016 the City Commission approved the rankings for Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for the subject project. On November 21, 2016 Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) submitted a GMP proposal in the amount of $2,828,933 to provide CMAR services for the subject project.

Construction is expected to begin in January 2017 and take approximately 12 months.

Fiscal Note

Funding is available through a combination of Local Option Gas Tax and grant funds. The adopted Capital Improvement Plan contains $3,400,000 for the construction of this project.

...Recommendation:

The City Commission:  1) approve the proposal from CPPI for CMAR services for the Depot Avenue Segment 4 project; and 2) authorize the City Manager to execute the contract, subject to approval as to form and legality by the City Attorney.
