This is a request for the General Policy Committee to discuss an issue that was referred during the May 19, 2016 City Commission meeting.

Explanation

During the May 19th City Commission meeting, several citizens from the Oak Grove neighborhood asked for help with concerns regarding an Intensive Treatment Modalities Group (ITM) treatment facility zoning application.  The citizens have alleged that ITM is providing court-ordered counseling services to sexual offenders near two childcare facilities.  The residents also believe that the counseling services are inappropriate for their neighborhood in addition to being a violation of code.  The City Commission referred this issue to the General Policy Committee for further discussion.
