Explanation
On April 14, 2016, the Purchasing division issued an Invitation to Bid for the Uniform Purchase for Regional Transit System Employees. On May 11, 2016, Purchasing received four (4) responsible and responsive bids.
Fiscal Note
Funds are available in an amount not to exceed $56,750 annually for the purchase of uniforms for RTS employees. This is included in the annual RTS operating budget.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) authorize the bid award to Designlab, Inc. for the Uniform Purchase for Regional Transit System Employees; and 2) authorize the City Manager or designee to execute a contract and any necessary documents, with Designlab, Inc. for the Uniform Purchase for Regional Transit System Employees, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
