ENERGY EFFICIENCY SUBCOMMITTEE UPDATE (NB)

Explanation

The subcommittee held their second and final meeting on 10/26/16 and continued their discussion of possible changes to the structure of GRU's LEEP program. They and GRU staff discussed recommendations that were submitted by Member Denslow. At the end of discussion the subcommittee voted to make this recommendation to the board:

Continue the LEEP program in its current form. If the City allocates an extra $100,000 for LEEP it should be used at management’s discretion, with a portion perhaps going to a pilot program for programmable thermostats.
