Audit of General Fund Revenue Estimates Included in the Proposed Budget for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2017 (B)

Explanation

In accordance with Section 13(A), Budget Reviews, of Commission Resolution 150127 and our Annual Audit Plan, we completed an audit of General Fund revenue estimates for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017.  We evaluated the reasonableness of the forecasted General Fund Revenues and Other Sources of Funds set forth in the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Final General Government Financial and Operating Plan Budget to be adopted by the City Commission on September 15, 2016.  We conducted this audit in accordance with Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.  Our report is attached for your review.

Recommendation:

The City Auditor recommends that the City Commission accept the City Auditor's report.
