A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Gainesville, Florida; relating to its General Government Budget for the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2017 and ending September 30, 2018; approving the proposed tentative General Financial and Operating Plan; and providing an immediate effective date.

Explanation

The proposed tentative General Government Budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 as set forth in the Proposed Financial and Operating Plan - Budget by Funds is hereby submitted for approval and further consideration at a public hearing to be established in conjunction with the approval of a proposed millage rate to fund said budget.

A balanced Proposed Tentative General Government Budget is submitted for approval.

Recommendation

The City Commission adopt the proposed resolution.
