Explanation
At their June 15, 2017 regular meeting, the City Commission discussed that the Utility Advisory Board (UAB) is working on a draft ordinance for an independent utility board without specific direction from the Commission to do so. They voted unanimously to hold a joint meeting with the UAB to discuss the issue of GRU governance.
Recommendation:
Discuss GRU governance with the UAB and take any action deemed appropriate.
