Explanation

Staff had planned to bring the Asset Purchase Agreement to a joint meeting of the City Commission and UAB on August 10th to go through the contract line by line.  Because the documents will not be ready by that date, the Board will have their regular meeting instead.  The Chair has requested to hear an update on the negotiations.  The Vice-Chair requested that staff be prepared to discuss funding options for the purchase transaction.

Recommendation

1)  Hear an update on the GREC purchase negotation process.  2)  Discuss funding options for the purchase.
