This ordinance, at the request of the property owners of the subject property, will annex into the corporate limits of the City of Gainesville approximately 8.33 acres of privately-owned property that is generally located south of Sugarfoot Oaks Subdivision, west of SW 61st Terrace, north of SW 20th Avenue, and east of Parcel 06675-004-000. At the request of the property owners seeking annexation into the City of Gainesville, the City Commission on August 17, 2017, received and accepted a petition for voluntary annexation of the property and directed the City Attorney to prepare an annexation ordinance.
