Explanation
The City of Gainesville advertised an invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Annual Contract for Right-of-Way Maintenance for the northeast quadrant of the city. The following firms responded with bids: Oasis Landscape Services, Inc., Southern Lawn Care Mid Florida, Inc. and Taylor Maid, Inc. Oasis Landscape Services, Inc. was the lowest responsible and responsive bidder in the amount of $89,779.68.
Fiscal Note
Funding for the Right-of-Way Maintenance in the amount of $89,779.68 is identified in the Public Works Department FY 2018 Operating budget.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) authorize the City Manager to execute the contract with Oasis Landscape Services for Right-of-Way Maintenance in the northeast quadrant of the City, subject to approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality; and 2) authorize the City Manager to execute any and all related documents.
