This item is a request to adopt a Resolution approving and authorizing the execution of a Temporary Construction Easement to the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)

Explanation

The State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) currently has a resurfacing project on-going for Southwest Archer Road.  In the vicinity of Southwest 40^th Boulevard and its crossing of Archer Road, FDOT is requiring a Temporary Construction Easement to renew the connection of  Southwest 40^th Boulevard at the north and south sides of Archer Road.  The FDOT also requires a Resolution authorizing the grant of the easement.

Fiscal Note

There is no fiscal impact with this request.

Recommendation

The City Commission:  1) adopt a Resolution approving the grant of a Temporary Construction Easement onto the State of Florida Department of Transportation and; 2) authorize the Mayor to execute the easement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality.
