This item recommends that City Commissioners and Charter Officers attend a workshop on Incident Command, ICS402.

Explanation

At the June 21, 2018 City Commission meeting, the Commission directed the Clerk to schedule a two-hour workshop for Commissioners and Charter Officers who have not completed Emergency Management Training course ICS402 Incident Command System Overview for Executives and Senior Officials.  The workshop has been scheduled to be presented by Gainesville Fire Rescue on July 18, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Fiscal Note

There is no fiscal note at this time.

Recommendation

The City Commission and Charter Officers who have not completed the course attend the workshop on ICS402 on July 18th, 2018.
