UAB member Mary Alford attended the APPA's 2018 National Conference from June 16 through June 21, 2018. She attended the following preconference seminars:
Electric Utility Industry Overview and Challenges
Board Responsibilities: Excellence in Governance
Developing Policies that Demonstrate Effective Board Leadership
She also attended break-out sessions covering various utility industry-related topics throughout the week. She will share what she learned with the full board.
