Explanation

St. Francis House operates through a Special Use Permit subject to a five-year renewal by the City Plan Board.  The petition was reviewed and approved by the City Plan Board on March 27, 2014 and is currently up for renewal.  This petition is a request for renewal of the Special Use Permit to allow a Residence for Destitute People and a Food Distribution Center for the Needy; both uses are allowed in the DT Transect district by Special Use Permit, subject to compliance with Section 30-5.12 and 30-5.22.
