Approve Purchase of "Trees of North Florida" Posters Using Special Events Fund for Tree Giveaway (NB)

Explanation

At the November 12, 2019 meeting, Chair Hildreth shared she had a contact at the Florida Urban Forestry Council who is selling "Trees of North Florida" posters in bulk at a discounted rate. The former Urban Forestry Inspector gave out these posters at City Beautification Board events. The poster contains a species list of trees suitable for north Florida, descriptions of the different species and their environmental requirements, and a guide on how to correctly plant a tree.

Recommendation:

The City Beautification Board decide on a quantity of posters to purchase and approve the purchase of the posters using the Special Events Fund.
