Gainesville Police Department Follow Up Discussion (B)

 

Explanation

Based upon the action of the City Commission at its July 13, 2020, the Gainesville Police Department has examined its operations and will discuss a series of programmatic changes that are directed at meeting the Commission's goals of (1) a reduction in non-violent arrests; (2) a reduction of incarcerations; and, (3) a reduction in disproportionate minority contacts.

 

Recommendation:

As requested by the City Commission on July 13, 2020 to hear a presentation on topics addressed.
