On November 3, 2020, a referendum election was held for the following City Charter Amendments: to create a Charter Preamble, to limit Commission authority to dispose of certain utility systems, to eliminate restrictions on construction of paved surfaces on City-Owned land, and to change the name of the Charter Officer "Clerk of the Commission" to "City Clerk"
