Explanation
The City of Gainesville’s state lobbying firm, Peebles, Smith & Matthews, Inc., will provide an update and summary of the end of session report regarding key pieces of legislation that were considered and passed during the state of Florida’s 2021 legislative session. This report will cover topics such as the state budget and appropriations, areas of interest for municipalities, and local bills relating to Gainesville.
Included is a copy of the City of Gainesville 2021 Legislative Priorities approved by the City Commission on October 22, 2020 and then amended on November 19,2020 and again on February 18, 2021.
