Title
Discussion of Future Meetings Schedule and Length (NB)
Explanation
As this is the first meeting of the Joint City/County Local Food System Policy Board, and per Section 2(g)(2) of the Interlocal Agreement Creating the Joint Food System Policy Board , the Joint Board shall hold public meetings at least quarterly, but may choose to hold more frequent meetings as needed and at such times and places as it may designate in accordance with Florida's Government in the Sunshine Law.
Therefore, Joint Board must decide if quarterly meetings are sufficient, or if meetings that are more frequent are preferred. The Joint Board should consider how the scheduling decision impacts the ability to appoint the two vacant Joint Board seats. Preferred length of meetings should also be discussed.
