Explanation
FDOT proposes Financial Project Number (“FIN”) 207658-2-52-01, which includes the coating of all new and existing poles and mast arms, controller cabinets, pedestrian poles, and pedestrian head(s) (collectively referred to as “structures”) with a colored epoxy coating.

Fiscal Note
There is no initial, fiscal impact with this request, as construction will be performed and funded by FDOT. There will be maintenance costs every 8 to 10 years estimated at $8,000.00 to $12,000.00, per signalized intersection, depending on the structure sizes.
Recommendation
The City Commission adopt a Resolution authorizing the execution of the Construction and Maintenance Agreement with FDOT and authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality.
