Title
Detailed Timetable Expansion (B)
Explanation
At some routes' termini and timing points, timetables are posted with a map. However, while it seems there are scheduled times for every stop, the schedules available to the public do not reveal them (only SCH indications in the RideRTS stop details offer some insight, but not much). Timetable designs from New York City and Budapest demonstrate the information density that can be attained in a route-wide timetable listing every stop and a per-stop timetable displaying arrivals across schedule types without compromising print size to an excessive extent. Benefits of posting more timetable information include resilience during website/app downtime and accessibility by those unfamiliar with the app or unable to access and operate it, or the website (non-owners of computers/mobile devices and good Internet are not to be neglected), as well as making bus stop poles look less spartan.
Recommendation
Assess obstacles to generating and publishing detailed timetables, and potential patron interest in the quality-of-life boost it brings.
