Explanation

The City Commission directed the City Clerk’s Office to research options for Commission Discretionary Spending. After consulting with the Department of Financial Services and the City Auditor’s Office, the below recommendations have been made.

Recommendation:

Authorize the creation of a Commissioner discretionary spending fund from the existing travel and training budget allocation and all other recommendations as outlined in the attached January 20, 2022 memo to the Commission.
