Community Health Improvement Plan Presentation by Gainesville Fire Rescue (B)

This item requests that the General Policy Committee hear a presentation by Gainesville Fire Rescue on the City of Gainesville’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).

Explanation

The City Commission established a Comprehensive City Public Health Policy and Strategy/Action Plan as a Top Priority in its Action Agenda 2021-2022.  Development of a Community Health Plan was listed as Milestone 2 in the Action Agenda.  Gainesville Fire Rescue (GFR) Staff have completed a Needs Assessment and have identified CHIP Priority Areas.  This GFR Presentation will provide details on findings and will outline goals and objectives for the CHIP Mission.
