Discussion of Construction and Demolition Waste in Gainesville (NB)
Explanation
On October 27, 2020, Community Builders presented information on Construction and Demolition Debris in the community and received feedback from the Subcommittee.
On December 8, 2020, Community Builders presented possible concepts on how a Construction and Demolition Ordinance might work. Concepts discussed included requiring security to ensure compliance, fees at the end of the project or a combination of both. The process is to be integrated with the building permit process. Community Builders will provide an update on status of developing an ordinance and seek feedback for Subcommittee members.
