Gainesville Creative Series: Design Session (B)
This is a request for the City Commission to host a Design Session workshop as part two of the Gainesville Creative Series.
Explanation
The City Commission, Charter Officers, and city organizational leaders participated in the first session of the Gainesville Creative Series on June 9, 2016, at the Catalyst Building. The Inspire Session in June was the first part of the series aimed at envisioning the future state of our community. The second part of the Gainesville Creative Series, the Design Session, will build upon the first to collaboratively with the community spur big ideas around the possible future of Gainesville.
Fiscal Note
Funds for hosting this event are estimated to be a few thousand dollars and are included in the FY2016 operating budget of the Administrative Services Department.
Recommendation
The City Commission host part two of the Gainesville Creative Series, the Design Session.
